(061022) The government of Malaysia will seek the abolishment of mandatory death penalty. Other punishments will take the place of the death penalty.

.

"Cabinet has agreed to abolish the mandatory death penalty in Malaysia. Relevant laws to be amended," tweeted Health Minister, Khairy Jamaluddin.

.

Human Rights Watch, and Amnesty International welcomed the news.

Police software vendor gets hacked exposing raid plans

Hackers gave Distributed Denial of Secrets (DDoSecrets) data to give to journalists/researchers. DDoSecrets says it has 19 GB of data regarding police software ODIN Intelligence along with SweepWizard.
